November 2010 saw the re-opening of the Cauldon Lowe line which runs from Leekbrook Jnc, a total distance of 8 miles of steeply graded railway which runs through beautiful Staffordshire moorland. Moorland & City Railway LTD ran a 3 weekend gala n November with a mixture of Steam & Diesel. It took MCR 8 months to clear te line from a mothballed state back in early 2010.
